It's a real thrill and an honor to be running for the state Senate in Grand Forks' District 42 – the home of the University of North Dakota and a place where I've been lucky enough to meet great friends and have some of the most rewarding opportunities a person could hope for.

It's going to be a fun and important campaign that will give us a chance to discuss some of the critical choices facing North Dakota. Stemming the steep rise in college tuition while fully funding higher education, reforming Workforce Safety and Insurance, curing our over-reliance on property taxes, and doing more to support our National Guard and Reserve soldiers are all very important to me, but I would also love to hear about what is important to you and your family.
